I can't say enough how magical Christmas is! I love the songs, the decorations, the feelings of Christ...the list go on. So here is a quick rundown of our magical Christmas.
This year was my first experience with a kid in a program! It was so dear to my heart! Just another of life's joys! McKinley did great in her Preschool program! She knew all the words, and the actions! My favorite part was during a song about loving her parents. She kept pointing right at me, then sighing I love you! It was darling! And yes a tear did come out. I cry over everything!
After the program we got to take her home early! She was thrilled to have performed and proceeded to tell me the rest of the day how fun it was! I love hearing about what goes on in her little brilliant mind!
This year for Christmas I went a little overboard with 'homemade' love. I couldn't find beanbag chairs that I liked (Pottery barn doesn't count in our budget) so I followed an easy pattern from pinterest and made two of them for our loft area. It turned out great and now they have comfy seats when reading stories! I also painted my old Barbie house to modernize it (thanks Danica for your help with the vinyl). I also made the bedding for Kasidy's baby beds and McKinley's Barbie bed. It really was fun to make things for them, but I think I will manage my time better next time. Greg was a huge help in the process and made and painted Kasidy's bunk bed for her babies the night before! I love you Greg!!!
McKinley's load of gifts!
Kasidy's Pile!
Lucky Girls!!!
It was so great to see the girls opening their presents! When they got to their big gifts McKinley actually screamed her excitement to see ALL THOSE PRINCESS BARBIES!!! And Kasidy couldn't stop smiling! It was a wonderful Christmas! I love the picture of Kasidy's grin holding her new babies (They coo, and move!)
God Bless us Everyone
Merry Christmas!
