This month started out with SWIMMING LESSONS! The
2nd through the 12th.
McKinley had a blast swimming every day. The main skill she worked on the most was going under water. She loves to be brave and go under and...sing. Yes you hear right. She loves to sing underwater. What a darling girl.
Kasidy, this year, was too young to be in her own class, but too old to sit at the side of the pool. To solve this problem, I signed up with her for a mommy-tot class. It was a silly little class, but it was fun for Kasidy to swim in the pool. She did learn how to jump off the edge and hold onto the side of the pool.
Thank you Danica for taking pictures for me! Here are my two cute nieces who took swimming with us too!

We also celebrated our Nations birthday! Happy 4th of July! We went to the Centerville children's bike parade, and the parade. We also had fire works that evening at Grandma and Grandpa Daly's. The kids loved the sparklers. It was a fun celebration!

The girls waving at the princess float. It was their favorite one! Kasidy told me..."Ook mom, biby boby boo!" Yeah it's the fairy godmother! That parade was so hot, but lots of fun!
On the 10th Jayne invited us to the Ogden Dinosaur Museum. It was a fun activity! They had an exhibit with "real" moving dinosaurs. Kasidy was a little scared of it. The kids liked walking around the outside at all the model dinosaurs and taking their pictures. Thanks for a fun idea Jayne!
The 21st was girls day at my moms house. My mom loves to throw parties and this one was centered around our grandmothers. All the girls got a dish from each of my grandma's china set. I have yet to display them but I love dishes, and I love that these have some sentimental value. Along with each dish, my mom wrote up a short note about each grandma, and where the dish came from. It was a wonderful day talking about memories, and making more. Thank you mom for being so good to our family!
Great Grandma Mary Margaret Anderson Johnsons (My gram's mom)
Grandma Ruth Grace Crowther Wayman Locke (My dad's mom)
Great Grandma Ida Almeda Arnold Isaacson (Papa's mom)
Donna Bernice Johnson Isaacson (My mom's mom or Grams)
27th through the 29th was the Isaacson Family Reunion! This is one of my favorite reunions! We sit around, visit, eat, play games, take family photos and my favorite...Family skits! It is so fun to see what each family comes up with for their skit. Thank you Grams and Papa for having these reunions for our family!
Thank you for a wonderful reunion!!!
After the reunion we looked out the window and discovered that our garden is a bit out of control. The girls loved picking the vegetables, and lining them up to be counted. This was our first garden. We have learned that the package isn't lying when it tells you to space your plants apart:)
Mckinley this month has really been into tying things up. Whether it's around the stair case or her body she is very creative.
Wow! Another month gone. I love summer and can't believe it's almost over. Goodbye July, Hello August!
